In FY23, Asia Pulp and Paper (APP) saw a 10% drop in sales due to increased competition, with net income falling by 51%. The company is focusing on sustainable, high-value products, including the use of recycled fibers (48%) and biodegradable options like Foopak Bio Natura. APP is also committed to forest conservation, using advanced technologies for monitoring deforestation. Despite challenges, APP aims to expand into new markets while maintaining a focus on long-term sustainability.
