Graphic Packaging holding company to close Middletown, Ohio paperboard manufacturing facility

Graphic Packaging will permanently close its Middletown, Ohio, coated recycled paperboard manufacturing facility by June 1, 2025, as part of its strategy to consolidate production into its Kalamazoo, Michigan, and new Waco, Texas, facilities. The closure will impact about 130 employees. CEO Michael Doss thanked the Middletown team and emphasized the company's focus on enhancing operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. The move supports Graphic Packaging’s strategy to strengthen its paperboard manufacturing and maintain its leadership in sustainable consumer packaging.
