Despite challenges in 2023, including high inventory levels, rising input costs, and lower sales, the company remains optimistic for 2024 as demand recovers. Price increases for containerboard, sack, and kraft paper have helped offset cost pressures, especially in Europe where pulpwood prices remain high.
