With key buyers unprepared and outreach insufficient, EuRIC warns of severe disruptions, increased landfilling, and a weakened EU recycling industry. To prevent market collapse, EuRIC urges the European Commission to extend deadlines, improve engagement with third countries, and ensure a smooth transition to the new rules.
